Stormwater Spreadsheets
The following documents contain listings of all properties within the City of Staunton and include data on: total area, impervious area, resulting utility fee “tier”, fee, credits, adjusted fee, etc. The fee tiers are clearly shown on the first document (Summary) along with a sampling of what a few individual properties would pay if the adopted Equivalent Runoff Unit (ERU) is $3.70/ERU/Month. One ERU is equivalent to 2,600 square feet of impervious surface area on a property.
Please note that if a lesser ERU rate is adopted by City Council then resulting fees would be proportionally less also.
The proposed utility program includes credits of 3 tiers for stormwater quantity (detention) control, and 3 tiers for quality (bioretention) control on any and all properties. The following documents include some credits, BUT NOT ALL – this still needs to be done – but ultimately all properties who qualify for credits will be given them.
These documents are in pdf format, one page wide, so they will appear too small to read; once opened please click on the “zoom” button on your Acrobat Reader and change the zoom to 100% (or larger) to make them readable. You will have to scroll across to see the complete information on your property. If you do not have Acrobat Reader on your computer you may download it free from the Adobe Acrobat website.
The documents are as follows:
These documents have been sorted by STREET then NUMBER for ease in looking up your properties. If you are not sure on which document your property is listed (i.e. < or > 80,000 sf Impervious), you may need to look on more than one. You may also contact the Stormwater Engineer, George Staber, at 332-3858 or StaberGI @ci.staunton.va.us for assistance.
Finally there will be an INFORMATIONAL MEETING, to be announced soon, where you may come and ask questions. There will also be a PUBLIC HEARING following the informational meeting. Thank you.
