Business License Information
Every person or corporate entity engaging in business in Staunton must obtain a business license. If the business will be operated from a residence, then a home occupation permit must first be obtained from the Planning and Zoning department (540) 332-3862. Every business that uses a trade name (i.e. Joe's House of Hair) must register that trade name with the Clerk of Circuit Court (540) 332-3874.
