Staunton Public Works Traffic Engineering's EMS has selected the following areas to reduce their carbon footprint:

·  Reducing the electrical usage in kilowatts used to operate the cities many traffic signal lights through the use of smart technology lighting.

· Lowering the amount of paint waste generated cleaning road striping paint machines.
