Staunton Recreation has 3 softball fields located in Montgomery Hall Park available for rent.

$100 a day
$20 per hour for lights (if needed)

Rules & Regulations Governing Facility Rental Policy

All Staunton Park & Recreation sponsored and co-sponsored classes, leagues, and events are given first priority to use the Staunton Parks and Recreation facilities. Any other group wishing to rent the facilities must complete the facility use agreement which requests permission to rent. Staunton Parks & Recreation facilities will not be available for use, even on a rental basis, by any group whose activities or programs, either by design or in fact, compete with activities, programs or events sponsored or co-sponsored by the Staunton Parks & Recreation Department.

Usage of all Staunton Parks & Recreation facilities will be based on availability, sponsorship, availability of staff to cover the request as well as maintenance issues including but not limited to, preservation of appropriate field conditions. As of November 1, 2003, all facility rentals require a deposit, as well as the appropriate user/rental fee. The rental fee will cover a building or site supervisor, the use of the facility and all over head costs (lights, heat, water). This fee DOES NOT include referees, coaches, scorekeepers, cleaning crew, etc. It is the responsibility of the renter to provide staff and equipment for their event.
