City Schedules: Presidents Day

City of Staunton offices and facilities will operate on modified schedules in observance of Presidents Day on Monday, Feb. 16.

Friday Update: Cleanup Continues; Trash Resumes

Following a week of historic winter weather, seven dedicated Public Works teams spent Friday tackling neighborhood ice across the city, focusing on widening travel lanes and removing snow from the downtown core.

Wednesday Update: Closing in on the Last 10 Percent of Streets; Trash Collection Suspended

Following an aggressive deployment of heavy machinery and contractor support, the City of Staunton Public Works Department reports that crews have now cleared at least one travel lane on 90 to 95 percent of city streets.
