The Nominations Committee of Staunton City Council will meet on Monday, May 11 at 2:00 p.m. to convene in a closed meeting for the following:

To discuss and interview a possible specific appointee for a position on the Library Advisory Board, pursuant to Virginia Code § 2.2-3711(A)(1).

 It is not anticipated that any announcement will be made at this time.

 This meeting is an emergency meeting for purposes of the Virginia Freedom of Information Act due to the unavailability of an interviewee for the Nominations Committee meeting on May 4, 2026.
