DESCRIPTION:If you have enjoyed Irish Road Bowling through Staunton Parks and Recreation or you are interested to learn about a historic sport from the British Isles and North America be sure to check out Road Bowling at the Frontier Culture Museum on October 7th. The team fee of $30 will include admission to the museum’s Oktoberfest event on the same day. The Road Bowling competition will run from 8am-11:30am and Oktoberfest begins at 12pm. Team captains may register teams of three people aged 13 and up. Participating minors must have an adult accompanying them. The winners of the competition will receive championship t-shirts. If you wish to register a team or have questions call the Frontier Culture Museum at 540.332.7850.
