Pet of the Month: Andy
APRIL 3, 2018 — You’d never guess Andy is 10 years old. He doesn’t act like it most of the time. He loves to go for walks, sniff out treats in the animal shelter play yard, and shower humans with kisses.
The only sign of his age is frequent napping. Who doesn’t enjoy a siesta, though?
Andy is a mixed breed dog who has been at the Shenandoah Valley Animal Services Center (SVASC) for almost four months. He’s friendly to every human he meets, good with other dogs—as long as they’re not overly rambunctious—and he does well with cats, too.
His easygoing temperament makes him a great addition to a family or any home that wants a happy-go-lucky pet.
Visit the SVASC at 1001 Mt. Torrey Road in Lyndhurst, or call 540.943.5142 if you’d like to give Andy a forever home.
