Pet of the Month: Bishop

DECEMBER 12, 2018 — It’s incredible that a brilliant dog like Bishop was ever wandering the streets.

This smart, lovable and playful pup was brought into the Shenandoah Valley Animal Services Center as a stray three months ago.

Bishop is a gentle, two-year-old German Shepherd mix who is well behaved and readily obeys commands. He’s always ready to play with children and other dogs. Whether it’s fetching and catching a tennis ball or nosing a soccer ball around the yard, Bishop doesn’t miss an opportunity to have fun.

He’s also a healthy dog, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested and neutered.

All he needs is a loving home. If you’d like to make Bishop yours, visit the SVASC at 1001 Mt. Torrey Road in Lyndhurst, or call 540.943.5142 to make him a part of your family.
