The City of Staunton has released its latest Activity Report, highlighting key projects, events, and accomplishments across all city departments over the past month.
Find out exactly what a 4-million-gallon "clearwell" is and why draining it is a critical project for the city's Water Treatment Plant. You can also learn about the "Step Into Your Story" boxes being shipped out by our Tourism department, check in on the latest progress for the downtown tunnel repairs, and discover the impressive milestone reached by our Adopt-a-Spot volunteer program!
The first two pages feature highlight stories, a message from City Manager Leslie Beauregard, a “by the numbers” snapshot, and details on calls for service and response times for Police and Fire & Rescue.
Each city department provides a monthly summary of significant activities and events, which are compiled into one report for City Council and made available to the public online.
Previous Activity Reports can also be accessed from the link at the top of the webpage.
How does this version look? We've got infrastructure, a fun tourism tease, downtown construction, and a feel-good community spotlight all rolled into one!
