Welcome to the Staunton Public Library
The Staunton Public Library is located at the intersection of Churchville Avenue and North Augusta Street. City transit, particularly the North Loop Trolley, makes regular stops near the Library Monday through Friday.
After Library hours, you may return materials in the outdoor book drop, located near the Library’s entrance.
The following items will not be accepted in the drop box:
- Rosetta Stone materials
- Nature backpacks
- Music equipment
Talking Book Center
The Staunton Talking Book Center is a free public library service to area citizens who are unable to read standard print material. It is a sub-regional library of the National Library Service for the Blind and Visually Impaired (NLS).
Friends of the Staunton Library
The Friends of the Staunton Library is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides volunteer support, accepts book donations, and raises funds that enhance the programming, technology and collections of the Staunton Public Library.
Library Events Focus on Climate Change
The Staunton Public Library will feature a film and a speaker on the subject of climate change during two events in December.

Help Local Families and Erase Your Fines
Through Jan. 5, erase your overdue fines at the library with a donation of canned or boxed goods for the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank to help local families in need.

Author Anne Marie Pace to Visit Library Nov. 8
The Staunton Public Library will host Anne Marie Pace, a Charlottesville children’s book author, on Nov. 8. Pace is the author of the Vampirina Ballerina books.
