Curbside Pick-up is available:

• Monday - Thursday 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
• Friday & Saturday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• Sunday 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.  

To utilize curbside to pick up library materials:

• Log into your online account and place holds using the library’s catalog at www.ValleyLibraries.org or by calling the library at 540.332.3902.
• As items become available for pick-up, patrons will be notified via their preferred method of telephone, email, or text message.
• When arriving at the library for curbside service, park in one of the designated spots near the handicap-accessible parking area and follow the instructions on the sign. Please have your library card number ready. Staff will be happy to provide accommodations to anyone with mobility issues upon request.

Wi-Fi and Chromebooks

Wi-Fi is available 24/7 from the library’s parking lot, and the library also offers Chromebook laptops for use on library property. Chromebooks check out for up to two hours to cardholders aged 18+. A form of ID will be held as collateral during the checkout period, and these laptops will be available on a first come first served basis. No holds or reservations required. 

Reading Suggestions

Staff will continue to offer personalized reading suggestions, reading lists, and online displays to help you select materials. Try the library’s reading suggestions page: bit.ly/SPLSuggests. You can sign up for new book alerts, browse curated reading lists, or submit a request to have our team of librarians create a personalized set of reading suggestions just for you! If you’re feeling brave, you can even submit a request for a surprise bundle of books or movies from a genre of your choice.
