The Staunton Public Library offers free access to The NY Times website as a service available to its patrons ages 18 and older for both on-site and off-site use.

 Access in the Library

Patrons have unlimited access to The New York Times while in the library. First, connect to Staunton Wi-Fi and then proceed to NYTimes.com. You will then be prompted to create an account or to log-in to an existing account. Even though the access is free, patrons must create an account with The New York Times in order to use the website without hitting a pay-wall.

Off-site library patronsLibrary Patrons are able to receive unlimited access to everything The New York Times has to offer for a 24-hour period by clicking the link below.

Off-site Access to The New York Times

 After clicking on the link, you will be directed to a code redemption page which will be pre-populated for you. Click redeem.

 

Next you will be required to either log-in with an existing NYTimes.com account or to create one.

After you log-in to your account you will see a confirmation screen that tells you when your access expires. After your access expires, you can click on the link again to regain access for another 24 hours.
