Creating a space that welcomes everyone in our community

The current pool house, built in 1958, has served our community for decades. The existing facility requires visitors toPool House Rendering from pool deck
navigate stairs or a long ramp to reach restrooms and changing areas, creating barriers for families with young children,
seniors, and individuals with mobility challenges.

Our new facility will be accessible at ground level, ensuring that every member of our community can enjoy the Gypsy Hill Park Pool comfortably and safely. Construction started in August 2025 with completion planned for May 2026.

What's Changing?

  • Ground Level Access - Direct walkway from parking to pool deck
  • Individual Restrooms - Private, unisex facilities providing security and convenience for all families
  • Covered Concession Area - Improved kitchen facilities and shaded space
  • Enhanced Storage - More space for pool equipment and maintenance, improving operational efficiency

Project Timeline:

Demolition of the current building will wrap up in late August and early September followed by foundation and wall construction early this fall. Through the winter months crews will complete the framing and shingle roof followed by interior work late in the winter through the spring. Pool House Project Timeline
