The regional landfill is owned by Staunton, Waynesboro and Augusta County and operated by the Augusta County Service Authority.

Hours

Monday-Saturday
Commercial/Active Landfill: 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Residential (Public Use Site): 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.

 Closed Sundays

Fees

There is no service charge to residential customers, except for tires. There is a fee for commercial and industrial customers.

Recycling

A drop-off recycling facility is on site and accepts cardboard, newspaper, magazines, glass, steel and aluminum cans. Plastic is not accepted.
