Staunton-Augusta-Waynesboro Region Experiences First Positive COVID-19 Cases
The Virginia Department of Health’s Central Shenandoah Health District has informed Augusta County and the City of Staunton of two positive COVID-19 cases in Augusta County and one positive COVID-19 case in the City of Staunton.

City Council to Consider Emergency Ordinance for Temporary Relief
Tonight, City Council will consider a proposed emergency ordinance to provide temporary relief to local businesses and citizens.

Staunton Residents Encouraged to “Get Out, Get Fit, Get Home” as Warmer Weather Approaches
As warmer weather approaches, Staunton residents are encouraged to maintain social distancing while enjoying the city's parks.

Ribbon Cut on Completed GHP Stream Project
The Gypsy Hill Park Stream Restoration project has been completed, restoring about 1,500 linear feet of stream, reducing erosion, improving water quality, and enhancing habitat and aesthetics.
